Photo Submission Terms
"New Year, New Beginning" Photo Contest
This contest is about finding images or scenes the represent new beginnings. We are looking for photos that convey to the viewer the idea of a new beginning or fresh start.

Photos must be submitted by January 17th, 2014; 11:59PM PST.

Winners will be announced on the inkfarm blog and Facebook page on January 24th, 2014. All winners will be contacted by their prefered method at least 2 business days prior to the posting of the winning photographs.

By submitting a photograph, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

The submission must be in digital form, specifically as a JPEG or PNG file that is smaller than 5MB. By submitting a photo, each entrant agrees to the Terms and Conditions and is willing to comply with the official contest rules.

Who May Enter
Anyone that is not an inkfarm employee, or family member of an inkfarm employee may enter. Prizes may not be distributed to contestants in Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, or Sudan. Limit three (3) entries per entrant.

How to Submit a Photo
To enter into the contest you must email your photo to contests@inkfarm.com with the following information:

The photo itself must be a JPEG or PNG under 5MB in size. There is a limit of 3 submissions per entrant.

The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the contest entrant. By entering the contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.

The winning entrant will receive a cash prize in the form of a check for the amount of $100. This will be mailed to the winner at the address attached to their email. Second and Third place winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate for inkfarm.com and have their images published on the website.

The contest will be judged by the Inkfarm staff and a third party guest judge. The opinion of the judges will be based on three factors- Adherence to the theme, Creativity and over all Quality of the photograph. There will be one cash prize winner and 2 runners up. Honorable mentions may also be published on site based on submissions. Judges decisions are final. All winners and runners up will be posted on the Inkfarm Website.

By entering, entrants also agree to be bound by these rules and that the decisions of the judges are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the contest.

Inkfarm reserves the right to verify the validity and originality of any entry and/or entrant (including an entrant's identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these rules or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Inkfarm to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Right to Cancel Contest
If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned and at the discretion of Inkfarm, Inkfarm may opt to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest.

Winning entrants will be contacted at the addresses given in their submission when they have been chosen.
